Cycling Travel Journal

I have been working with talented artist, Ania Butler, to design a travel journal that allows you to be really creative. So much more than just a travel journal; it is also a sketch book, a place to store your mementoes and to plan your trips; turning your dreams into reality.

You can buy one of the journals from our kickstarter campaign page – click here to take a look.

An eco-friendly journal created by a cycle tourer, for other like-minded souls to use to tell their own story. The design and organisation of the journal is based on my own experiences of struggling to capture the important details of life on the road; my favourite meals, the interesting people I met and how I felt pedalling day after day.

Key Features

  • Sub-headings at the top of each page prompting you to document key details

  • Designed to allow the user to be really creative with pages for writing and sketching

  • Beautiful illustrations inspired by Claire’s trip

  • A world map to document your planned route

  • Motivational quotes, to keep you pedalling through the hard days

  • Hearty, easy-to- make recipes

  • Touring tips inspired by the lessons Claire learned along the way

  • Space for contact details of your newly-made friends

  • An envelope to store mementoes like ticket stubs or postcards.

  • An eco-friendly rubber band to hold your journal together

  • A unique guide detailing how to draw your own personal map

Sustainable production

Both of us are avid cyclists with a strong love for nature. Therefore, it was very important that we create a journal that is as environmentally friendly and ethically produced as possible.

  • Printed on 100% recycled paper
  • using biodegradable ink and renewable energy
  • 100% natural and fair trade rubber band
  • Printed by a London Worker Co-operative

We are proud to say that the journal was conceived, designed and printed in East London, minimising the carbon footprint.

Can you make a regular notebook with the same design?? I don’t have so much use for a bike touring journal at the moment when I’m not allowed to be on my bike
